Holy Week Plans
Next Sunday, April 2nd is Palm Sunday. Join us in worship at 11:00 a.m. The children will help us celebrate Jesus' entry into Jerusalem by waving palm branches and parading through the sanctuary.
Wednesday, April 5th we will gather around the tables in the fellowship hall for dinner starting at 5:00. At 6:00 we will remember the events of the Last Supper and celebrate holy communion together around the tables.
Thursday, April 6th there is the Lenten Lunch Service at noon at First UMC in Canton followed by lunch.
Friday, April 7th is the Community Cross Walk, details coming soon.
Sunday, April 9th Easter Sunday Celebration Worship at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Remember to bring fresh flowers to decorate the Easter cross. We will also collect Lenten offerings and jars.
This Thursday, the community Lenten Service and Lunch continues at noon at Canton First United Methodist Church. This week Pastor Erin is preaching. The offering at the Lenten Services go to the Community Kitchen.
